SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW......THERE IS HAPPINESS!

Yesterday was pretty much a sad day for me. I went to the doctor in Dothan and drove back to Troy realizing that no one was available to spend time with me or that I could chill with. On top of me being lonely it rained on and off like all day. On several occassions I was just laying down in my computer room listening to the rain beating against my roof top. Everyone I called was either busy, just didn't answer the phone, or just didn't call me back. This was one of my harder days to get through. The one thing that cheered me up after I decided I was going to go to the video place and rent some movies and get me some icecream.......was the rainbow I saw in the sky when I pulled back up into the parking lot at my apartment.

When Dee was younger momma took him to work one day with her. She use to work in the laundry room at a hotel in Oxford, Alabama at the time. Well, Momma realized Dee was not around her while she was working and ran out of the laundry room to find him. Dee had found a way to get into the gate that closed off the pool and almost drowned. So, from now on when ever he tells someone he can swim.......I don't believe him. He is going to seriously have to prove to me that he can swim.

The first pic is of the girls playing spades, of course! Some of the girls, I just meet that night and the others I have known for some years. The second pic is of Neisha, the birthday girl, and her girlfriend's nephew dancing and putting on a show for the rest of the party attenders. You had to be there to get the full effect of a lesbian birthday house party. They were suppose to have strippers, but that didn't go through. I'm was really like were the strippers at? LOL! All-in-all, I had a pretty good night.

Bootlegging Ain't Easy!

So, this past weekend I went to Anniston and chilled with family and friends. One of my friends, Wanda, kind of have her own business per say. She can take $600 and turn it into two the three times that amount when she gets finish handling her business. For example, she can get the new hot movies, some may even still be in the theater for like $1.25 cents a piece and will sell it for $10.00. If she paid 90 cents for each cd, music ranging from gospel to rap, you will pay $5.00 to get it from her. Yes, this shyt might me illegal, but she is making some serious money! I realized there is alot of foreign american citizens that are in or the hustle also. Alot of Africans and Asians! Today, or shall I say yesterday since it is currently 3:59am, Wanda sent me a picture of the new rims she put on her car. Do you want to know the price of these new rims? Can the class say $3,000! I'm seriously like~~" Wanda, you need to put me on your payroll!"

The time is now 3:41 am and I just can't seem to get back to sleep. Maybe I think I am going to miss a new post or email from my girlfriend. I really don't know the real reason why. I do know that I am lonely being in this apartment by myself. I miss having a warm body to sleep up against.

At work, I realized that scabies in Troy is not a rare thing. Someone in Troy get scabies like every other month or so. This is so nasty! I mean for real now!! For all of you who don't know what scabies is........(please read below)!!

What is scabies?

Scabies is a very itchy skin condition caused by tiny mites that burrow into your skin.
Scabies can affect people of all ages and from all incomes and social levels. Even people who keep themselves very clean can get scabies.

How is scabies spread?

Scabies mites spread by close contact with someone who has scabies. Scabies can also be spread by sharing towels, bed sheets, and other personal belongings.
Scabies often affects several family members at the same time. You can spread it to another person before you have symptoms.

What are the symptoms?

Scabies causes severe itching that is usually worse at night. Small children and older adults tend to have the worst itching. Children typically have worse skin reactions.
If this is the first time you have had scabies, it may be several weeks before you have itching and skin sores. But if you have had it before, symptoms will probably start in a few days.

How is scabies diagnosed?

A doctor can usually diagnose scabies based on your symptoms. Scabies is especially likely if you have had close contact with other people who have had similar symptoms.
Sometimes a doctor confirms a diagnosis by looking for signs of mites on a sample of your skin. The doctor gently scrapes some dry skin from an affected area and then looks at it under a microscope. This test is not painful for most people.

Unfortunately I am not a doctor, but being a pharmacy tech gives the insight of what's going on around the general area of where my job is located. Trust and believe! I have seen and heard some crazy shit! And don't tell a person that they can't get their pain medication early because they will act a plum fool. If you don't believe me.......pick a day and come visit! Well, I was suppose to be trying to take myself to sleep about an hour ago, but that didn't happen. So the time is now 3:54 am and I am going to try again.

The time is 2:51 am and I am up checking my email to see if my girlfriend wrote me and to check her blog to see what is new in her life in Korea. Since she has left, me getting up this early in the morning is kind of routine now. Considering there is not another warm body in the bed helping me to stay there.

Yesterday at work, as always, I was bored for as hell. This might be because besides Mark and I (the hired techs), we also have two students from Capps College of Dothan who are doing there rotations. TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THE PHARMACY! Which means, I am rearly in the pharmacy myself and if I am in the pharmacy I am probably reading one of my school books. Think about it~~~
Getting paid $12+ dollars an hour to do nothing......sounds hot to me! Today we got on the subject of how often the pharmacist and his wife gets paid and he stated if the both of them got paid only once a month it would be a disaster. Then he said the managers in the store only got paid once a month. This made me think because just the day before the store manager (Donna Delmain) told me I should go into management and that I would be good at it. Now, I'm thinking ONCE A MONTH, IS THIS BYTCH CRAZY! LMAO!! Unless it is a significant increase from my current pay, the answer would definately be hellllllllll nawwww!

I got a series of text messages from a female I use to consider to be my baby mama until she moved away to Decauter, Alabama. Clara told me her birthday was this weekend and that she was thinking about coming down to visit me. The first thought in my head, however is ........my apartment is not clean enough to let anybody come in~~~~typical me! Considering I don't have another off day until the 19th, trying to entertain someone while I'm bascially at work is kind of crazy to me. Plus, my funds are really low right now. At work I was actually thinking about getting an over night job or finding something that I could do to make money. Stripping was looking really good to me........especially considering how much I've been thinking about getting stuff paid on time. If all else fails....I am going to have to swallow my pride and just call my Auntie and ask for some money. She, at least knows, that when I call I really need it.

Well, I probably should be trying to go back to sleep now because is 3:15 am now. So, to all who are on my same time or close to it .....Sweet Dreams. And to the love of my life............HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY BABY!

MISSING YOU

I woke up this morning at April and Danielle's apartment wanting to watch the last few episodes of the L-Word before I actually decided it was time for me to drive back to Troy. I was glad that Bette and Tina got back together in the series, however the season finale was kind of screwed up. Can't wait for next season, even though April informed me that the next season is suppose to be the last season of the L-Word. What a bomber! Hold up!! When is "Noah's Arc" the movie coming out? Well, I guess I am going to have to google that as soon as I am finished typing what's really on my mind. Driving back to Troy was hard, not physically but emotionally. I have come to realize alot of things about myself over the past year. For instance, when I am driving and the music is not playing I tend to think alot about things in life. Today was one of those days, that I didn't realize the music wasn't playing and was thinking about my girlfriend and the fact that I had heard from her since I left her at the airport to get on the plane. I called her friend Courtney to see if she knew her blog name because I had tried to acess it a couple of nights ago and was unsucessful. She said she would text me, but I thought she was taking too long so I got home and tried again and sucessfully found it myself. I then texted Courtney back and told her never mind. Also realized, that when I won't things done in a hurry....I have to do them myself.

I am more than relieved now that I have finally chatted, not a length however, with my girlfriend today. Today was starting off as a very emotional day, even after taking my medication, but now it seems promising. I can now really symphatize with real army wives. This shit is hard!!

LONELY HEART

I dropped my girlfriend off at the Montgomery Airport two mornings ago to get on the plane to go to Korea. "Is she in the military?", many people ask. I tell them that she is going to teach English as a second language (ESL). I know to her for the months, weeks, and even days following up to her departure it might have seemed as if I didn't care that she was leaving. I care very much for her, however at the same time she wasn't around enough in the last weeks or days before she left to spend real quality time with me. Like Janet says, "that's the way love goes." Yesterday I went to Montgomery because sitting around Troy in an apartment by myself was so out of the question. I went to my friend's apartment (April and Danielle) because April was throwing a birthday get together for Danielle's 24th birthday. Danielle is April's girlfriend, of course. I kind of got to there apartment around 3:30 pm, even though the get together wasn't planned to start until 6:30pm, plus I brought some clothes to spend the night because I know that I wouldn't feel like driving all the way back to Troy that night. The night before I was on Myspace and met a pornstar who I came to realize was also staying at an extended stay type hotel in Montogmery. I told the female that I would come out to see her while I was in Montgomery and did. However, real life versus pictures of someone is not always the same. Even though her lover/manager and her both stated that I looked exactly like my picture. My question was going to be is that a good thing or a bad thing, but I just left that at that. Well, more updates later.
